Let Us Rejoice!

Life is a mixture of joy and sorrow, good and bad, rich and poor, black and white, but no matter what is going on in our lives on any one day God’s promises will never fail, and He has told us that He will never leave us.  No matter who you are or where or what your situation is, our Creator, the lover of our souls will be with you.  You simply cannot ask for anything better.  We have so very much to be grateful for, but how often do we stop what we are doing and tell our Lord how very much we appreciate His daily presence in our lives?  In the world in which we live we often make assumptions – we assume we are truthful and honest; above board in everything we do, but do we ever stop to think that this world we live and love in was not of our own doing; it was simply a gift from the One who created us in the first place; an environment in which we were to be His children and love one another.  It is the very reason for which He created us.

Many yesterdays, we have failed Him, but He has never failed us.  He has continued to believe that His love will win out over all that Satan can provide.  In today’s world, it is easy to point our finger at someone else; it has to be someone else’s fault that our world is full of suffering and pain.  Is it too late for us to affect the climate of this world we occupy?  I don’t think so; we may have to get down on our knees and ask for one more chance, but without a doubt I feel that God will welcome our petition and grant the desire of our hearts.  I know the angels in heaven will rejoice and I believe many of us will also.

This world our Father created has been and can be again like the original garden He created for His beloved children to enjoy.  Evil was put here on this earth to cripple God’s people by an enemy who neither understood or desired the outcome of love and all its splendor.  It will not take bombs and cannons to destroy evil; the only device to rid this world of hatred and evil is a simple one - we must once again remind ourselves that we were put here to love one another and enjoy the blessings of the Father’s love.

Before you believe and accept the fact that evil is here to stay remind yourself that love is a stronger force than any evil the world has or will ever know.  We only have to believe and stand on what we believe.  God can and will do what we are unable to do; all we have to do is sign the petition promising to try and in the process to love one another simply because God does love us all.  Yes,

It might take some effort, maybe even more than we think we have, but God has always provided His children with the tools they need to handle the world He created for them.  Surely, we can bend our knees and thank Him for the opportunity to try and prove He was right to do so.

I know you are thinking that even if we try there is so much evil, so many people who don’t know the answer and don’t want to.  How can we realistically hope that we, in this day, can do what others before us have not been able to do?  Maybe it is because, if we ask, we will have the advantage of help from One whose help will never fail.  Our Father has always held out hope that we would one day understand and long for the same thing He created us for – that our lives could and would prove the power of love and sacrifice in His name.

This is my Father’s world, O let me ne’er forget
That though the wrong seems oft so strong,
God is the ruler yet.
This is my Father’s world, the battle is not done,
Jesus who died shall be satisfied,
And earth and heaven be one.
